Hello. I am pretty new to the detailing world but not doing too bad I think. A couple of questions I had in regards to waxing.



1. Once applied, how long to let it dry? Overnight?

2. How may coats if using Meguiars Tech Wax 2.0

there's no need to let it sit overnight. if you want it to sit a bit longer, wait a few hours and then remove...

15 20min max I would say. Else, you are gonna need some elbow grease.

With NXT I would give it between 10-60 minutes, depending on the humidity and temperature. Use the swipe test, as already suggested. In my geographical area I find that 30 minutes is a good time to allow it to dry. And no, do not let it sit over night. Nothing is gained. The sealant only accumulates dust and becomes more difficult to safely remove.



For NXT, two coats is recommended by Meguiar's. The optimal time between coats is 12 hours.
