Wax over Wax?

I did the following little routine on my car (2007 impreza) a little over a month ago.

1) Wash + Dry (Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo)

2) Clay Bar (Mothers)

3) Wash + Dry

4) Polish (Meguiars Color-X)

5) Wax (Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax)



Now, I was wondering if I wanted to throw a layer or two of the Tech Wax on it again, do I have to do the entire 5 step process all over again or can I get away with just doing 1 & 5. Also, do I have to do anything to remove the wax from last time?



I am just noticing some slight dulling and I want that intense shine back, the quick detailer isn't cutting it anymore. I also ran my fingers across the body and hood of the car and I don't feel any imperfections, so I don't think I need to clay again.

Yep, you'll be fine with doing just 1 and 5. You can still spot-clay if you do feel any sort of grit on the surface of your car.
