Wax on reg. spray paint

Can i put wax like nxt on regular house spray paint im painting a metal box for one class and i want it to have a relly good wet look and depth
 
sure i dont see why not, remember most lsp's if not all are designed for use on non porus surfaces. now thats a wide range of items there. it will make it look a little better im sure and protect it but it also is predetermined by the job you do painting it in the first place.
