It has been brought to my attention here that my name has appeared in this thread about WaxIt and I feel it prudent at this stage to inform those reading that my involvement with WaxIt was simply to write articles as requested - I am in no way part of the management of WaxIt nor was I responsible for any of the monies or deliveries, simply a third party who was asked to write articles which I did (and was not paid for them, so I too am at a loss...).
Incase anyone is looking to hold myself either partly or fully responsible for the magazine's failure and the loss of money, I feel it highly prudent to make my association with the magazine abundantly clear: a third party asked to write for it.

Looks like this dude is either Simon or someone involved.

I emailed them to see if they knew Simon and this was the response I got.
"Yes its the same office the magazine went bankrupt due to some advertisers not paying from issue 1 and we are currently selling remainding stock on ebay in order to help issue refunds.there was details on DW thanks for your paitence and we will get round to everyone"
Which means the con lied AGAIN and told everyone he did not have internet access. Last I checked it was REALLY hard to sell on Ebay without internet access.

I respect the fact that you informed us about your relationship, we appreciate it.
If they are bankrupt then there's no need to look any further :down, I'm just curious with all the talent we have in USA why no one has come up with a magazine like this ?
Maybe there's some that I'm not aware of ? or maybe theres no money to be made ?

I would think no money to be made and is why it failed in the UK as well. Personally, I get all of the info. I need, and info. I don't need, online. I'm guessing that is why the magazine did not sell well.
Well, that and his marketing was horrible. Most people never even knew about it or that it existed.

I imagine there are quite a few reasons the magazine as it stood folded...
The first issue received quite a lot of bad press, but a great many still supported it onto its second issue which was vastly improved over the first in terms of content and design... alas, the second issue was plagued with delivery problems and other issues which I do not know enough about to comment on... the third issue never even made it past the starting content stage.
Whatever went on in the management side of things I really do not know - I didn't ask, I enjoyed writing the articles and stuck to that... Whether we will ever get a definitive answer, I really know not.
Its a shame that it has folded, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. I am however saddened that people have lost money out of this (as in people who paid for the magazine in good faith), I'm afraid I personally am not in a position to be able to do anything to help that situation
