wax freezing

So the other day, I got some new wax. I left it in the garage for the first night, the next day went out there and the bottle was ice cold. That night the temp was to the point where everything freezes. It was the Zymol wax and say do not freeze.

Do you think it would still be ok? Or would one night kinda ruin it?

I am taking some of the clues you left and coming to the conclusion that you are talking about the Zymol cleaner wax (only Zymol that I know of in a bottle). Is that correct?

yes, that is correct.

The rest that I had was paste wax (which I believe you don't have to worry about as much)

Well paste wax says that you should not freeze either. I am not sure where the whole freezing thing came from. I do not know if they mean literally not storing it in the freezer to preserve or having it out in a cold climate every now and then.

Back in the day they might have froze the wax in hot climates to keep it solid (maybe one of the "wise carnauba guys" can chime in). I could see doing that for a natural carnaubra. Today's waxes though do not need to be stored in such a way.

I would think that you are safe to use it. The thing that you will immediately notice is that the wax has coagulated into little hard particles. If this happens then the wax is no good. Usually you can tell right away if a liquid wax went bad.

In the end though it would not be a great loss. Zymol Liquid wax is not all that expensive anymore. Matter of fact I can send you my two-thirds of a bottle if you pay shipping. I probably won't use it.

^ I may have to take you up on that.

I went on a wax spree and got Natty's blue, P21S, CK VM, FK Pink, and a few different Meguiars as well.

I love the smell of Zymol, but the Pink stuff really stinks :(

Just IM me when you want it and I will get a shipping price. By the way, stop sniffing the wax, you might get high or something.
