Wax AS You Dry

What's a good wax as you dry product that I can buy in bulk? Keep in mind it's a high volume detail shop and price could be a factor.

Hmmm Are you talking about a spraywax type? If so I would look into Duragloss as they have Aqua Wax which can be bought in gallons and if spoken directly can probably be purchased in larger volumes.

If you're trying to do like a speed wax I would just my favourite trick of using any carnuba wax (s100, p21s, nattys, ect) and applying it while the car is still wet (water sheeted off of course). any water that comes into contact with the wax just mixes in and ends up drying to the haze.

Sorry if you were looking at a more commercial absed answer.

YOu could try Pro-Active from prowax.com The water beads drop off quicking after spraying and it leaves a great finish. Little hard to get out of the MF's tho.

i used eagle 1 wax as you dry for a long time and it had really good protection but it didnt do anything for waterspots(if you happen to get any)

IMO there is no comparison between wax-as-u-dry and Aquawax. I have a hard time believing any of the wax actually sticks to the car with wax-as-u-dry. Aquawax gives a great wet look finish too.

Adam's Polishes has Detail Spray. It doesn't contain wax but leaves the finish very glossy and has good cleaning properties. Use it as a waterless car wash, clay bar lubricant, in between washes, or spray it on when you are drying the car. It's available in half gallon, 1 gallon, and 5 gallon dispenser jug. check it out at www.adamspolishes.com

When I'm in a hurry, I'll wash and rinse the car, and spray the entire car down with Turtle Wax express spray wax. Not the most durable, but gives remarkable depth for what it is.

i disagree on the WAUD comment. I have found it to boost unbeading protection left from S100 and have the beading last for about 2-3 weeks=2-3 washes.

I agree with Joyride,

WAUD does boost protection by how long probably a week or 2.

But I would only use WAUD on a car that has carnuba. My Z has Zaino so I use either Z8 or Aquawax with it. That Aquawax is some NICE stuff.

Aquawax is awesome. Probably the best drying assist you can have. It makes the towel glide like no other.

Ironically it helps towels glide like butter for me, but when testing slickness with the palm of my hand its not soo desirable.

I don't recall trying any of the wax as you dry products so can't comment on them. I find it just as easy to use a paste wax as joyriiide1113 mentioned. I do that on weekly biweekly cars pretty often and it only adds a few minutes to my time. The cost is dirt cheap too. Aquawax looks pretty interesting though.

I'm not saying it won't boost the beading, I just have a hard time believing the wax content of it does anything but get into the towel. Don't waxes require an enzyme or a solvent to stick to the paint? Seems like neither would mix well with water.

I would use the fast clean and shine as a drying assitant...if you need one...I just sheet water and blow dry and blot up excess..I do not drag towels over the paint....

The Aquawax works much better on a dry surface...the slickness is outstanding then...

The problem I found is that some WAUD products like Eagle1 is when the wax it leaves behind starts to deplete or die off..the paint gets grabby...so I gave up on these type products...AW does not do this....

Gallons of Aquawax. Gives real lasting protection, and a great shine. Did I mention its sooo easy to use!

AW is one of my best finds in a long time. I have found it easily betters other so called spray waxes, with lasting durability.

PB has a decent product, much better than anything "adams or is it tropicare or is it checmical guys has" They all have very identical products. Again makes me ponder is it a re label with good advertising. HMMMM

i finally tried AW at work on monday.... it was amazing! customers were impressed with the shine and it barely took 10 min. yea.... it is better with a dry surface but it did work fairly decent when wet. i just buffed it in with a micro and voila! best product that i've used since i've been detailing cars... no other comes close. as for using it as an express wax at my shop.... i think i need something closer to a light liquid wax. AW is really good on kept cars.... i've used it just about everyday after work on my own vehicle. carquest had it for 5.99 a bottle! i usually hate that place but they do keep a good supply of duragloss stuff.
