I had 2 hours of daylight after work last night to wash my truck and the wife's car. So I remembered that I had a bottle of the Eagle-One Wax As-U-Dry and had never try it yet. So I did, spray it on while still wet in sections and dry with a towel as normal. Then went back and buff it out with a dry towel.

Both car and truck was done before sun went down!

:xyxthumbs I was very impressed the results:

1- Great shine

2- Super slick

3- Very easy

4- Dry and buff car in 15 minutes.

I think its a great touch up in between waxes. I also think it helps to dry the car alot faster. I wouldn't try this in the sun though, in the shade only.

Note: Both the wife's car and my truck are preped/waxed and cleaned regularly. That helps alot too. I will suggest this to my customers to help them with the up keep between details.

I love EO products, but unfortunately, we don't have WAYD (hehe new acronym) here yet...

Question... how does the wax stay on the paint when you wipe off the water from the car?

In my paint, after my rinse, I end up with several puddles of water, not on the whole panel, only on a little spot...

I dry my car with a MF, and most of the time, the MF will just shove the water away from the panel and drips off...

How does the wax stay on the paint?

I really wish I can try this ASAP... Gotta find our local EO distributor here...

Thakns for the review.

I am not sure about that. Both my car and truck beed up very well and actually the water runs off too. So when I spray the Wax As-U-Dry it kinda seems like it goes right though the water beeds and when you wipe the water off you see a kinda smearing affect. Then I just buff that out with a dry micro-fiber towel.

This product is definitly worth a try!

Well, here's my $4.95 cents worth...I decided to pick up a bottle of this today at Walmart after reading the comments here. Just finished washing and "waxing" the car. Nice shine and real easy to use. What I especially like about is the "lubricating" effect it seems to have between the towel and the paint surface as you dry the car. No smears or streaks that I could see. Great way (I think) to give your car a quick shine after a wash.

Question again... How different is it from a QD or a quick wax spray?

I'm just wondering, coz with most Autopian's cars, they're pretty well waxed or sealed, how can we tell if there IS a wax coated onto the surface?

The slick feel can be achieved through QD as well, what's the diff?

I'm not being a skeptic, I just don't know how it works and how different it is from a QD with wax.

I use EO Wipe 'N' Shine for a QD and I love slick feeling that it leaves and nice shine too but it seems that the EO Wax As-U-Dry leaves a bit slicker surface probably because it contains more wax than the QD. I think the EO Wax As-U-Dry is probably the same as a spray wax.

The shine is about the same but keep in mine my car and truck are in perfect condition.

As Frank said:

Which is one of the things I really like about it!

But maybe a QD will do the same, I might have to try that one of these days. Hope this helps. :)

yeah, i would really like to know the difference between that and meguiars quik wax. Cause if they both provide the same protection, id like to pick some up for when i wash in the winter time and have no chance to really detail much!!!!

For those people who practice the Ultimate Drying Technique and blotted the remaining water up with a MF waffleweave towel, that stuff wouldn't be very effective. But since I always QD my car after I wash it, it all ends up about the same. Thing is I'm not too sure I'd want to get any type of wax residue or QD on my drying towels anyway. It's just that this place had made me so anal that I keep my drying towels separate from my QD towels which are separate from my buffing towels which.......... and on and on and on.

Seems like a good product in between waxing as some have mentioned, but I too would be worried about wax residue on my drying towles. But does it really matter that much?

I tried it last year as a QD during the winter but now I use it still as a QD after washing. It definately rejuvinates the S100's slickness between waxings. I would compare it's consistancy to One Grand Show Off, slightly thicker though, it is a spray wax. I like the way it buffs off so easily. I thought the Meguiars Kwik Wax required a lot more buffing and was plain smeary but maybe it was the way I used it. It's a good alternative to FI if you're not buffing out sealant or QDing between sealant layers etc..

I love this stuff, and I use it just about every time I wash my car. It provides a great shine for a week or so, and it smells great! If you don't dry your car fast enough, it will form some blotchy marks, though. But it's great for a quick shine!

I guess it wouldn't work if you use CWB then, huh...

What are you methods when using the WAYD with the "Autopian drying technique"?

I have had some great results with this product as well. I'm in college, so its really great after the weekly wash. And I agree with the smelling good part:D
