Water stains on sunroof

Thanks, checked out the thread but most of the response was not to use #0000 steel wool for it might create micro scratches on the glass. HMmm.....but its the sunroof,...would it matter? I guess so.... I just want to do it as perfectly as possible.

I think the key here is to try it in a small area first and see what the results are. The amount of pressure you apply while using the SW and a glass cleaner, along with how hard the glass is, will determine if it leaves any micro scratches.



You also have to decide what would look worse, the severe etching or micro scratches? If your glass is in very bad condition you may have to either replace it or take a chance with micro scratches.



You have been given a lot of ideas and products to try, just start with the least aggressive and work your way up.
