If they are old, there are a few things---try vinegar with a cotton swab.
If that doesn't work, try using a polish you might have--still spots? Try the polish and 0000 steel wool.
I ended up resorting to a product call A-MAZ. IT was only $5, but is made for water spotting, and works well.
