Water Spots on Clear Bra

Recently had a customer who clear bra'd the whole hood and had water spots all over. He said he has tried plastx, plexus, vinegar and nothing worked. I tried Prima Swirl with a 4" orange lc pad on the DA without success. Any suggestions? I know that clear bra's are alot more sensitive so it makes it even harder since I don't want to step up the aggressiveness....thanks ahead of time.

100% positive the spots are on the top, and not trapped under?

That said, I have heard you should use products similar to what you would on paint.

customer said he parked the car unknowingly next to sprinklers that turned on after he left. The sun baked it in for like 4-5 hrs. I'm thinking it has permanently etched the clear bra. if that's the case....what are my options?

if it's a 3M product it has a clear coat on it. i would go really easy on it but you should be able to clean it up.

I had the same thing with my SL55. I tried everything and the only way that I was able to eliminate the water spots was to remove the clear bra. My film was Xpel film. I found that working with the clear bra was next to impossible-- once it was marked with either water spots, bug marks it was toast.
