Water spots help needed

I got sprayed all over my personal vehicle with hard water to get the salt off of it . I have water spots everywhere . I have tried FK 145 , 425 , AW , FC&S , QS , ONR .

If those products didnt get them out, i assume they etched into the paint. You will need to polish your car to get them out i assume.

try vinegar first befor you polish I have gotten some terrible hard water spots out with it

I have heard some great things about the new Danase Water Spot remover, I am ordering some real soon to try myself.

chemical cleaner waxes work too...I use megs #66

If they're bad enough you may need to wetsand and polish the area.

Thanks guys , I appreciate it . Unfortunately we are getting foot + of snow starting today. If all the road salt here doesn't eat through the water spots , nothing will........... lol. It will be a while before I see nice CLEAN bare paint on my vehicle.

That is funny i have used vinegar before thought i was the only one who did that lol.

M66 is a chemical cleaner wax...I dont find that it removes defects, but rather covers them...

Ah, ok...How is it on moderate-heavy oxidation?



Fallguy - Yea, as others have said you can use vinegar and DI water.

i use it first on all oxidation levels where its visible...moderate to severe, I just adjust the pad accordingly...yellow cutting or orange
