Long time lurker here and I was wondering if anyone was from the SF Bay Area. As the topic states, I kinda wanna watch someone go through a full detail, if possible. Is anyone from the bay willing to let me shadow? I find that I'd probably learn best from working with someone. I've worked on my car a few times, and I feel that sometimes either I take too long or I'm doing something wrong. I think I'd learn best if I watched someone...So if anyone had ideas go ahead and respond, or if anyone can help me out, shoot me a PM. Thanks!

Meguiar's does a lot of detail days in CA...more in the LA area of course, those kind of things are good for seeing other people detailing or getting instruction. You can try keeping an eye here http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=70 (check all 3 forums because they kind of bleed over).
