I detailed a Lightning this weekend and used 1Z UP on the factory clear without problems. After the UP I followed up with PP and Menzerna's FP.
The "watch out" part is directed to those of you who may have opportunity to polish a Snug Top hard tonneau. The clear on this product is VERY SOFT and the UP scratched the hell out of it, with a 9227 at 1.5 with a LC cutting pad. I recovered the finish with 1Z PP and finalized with M's FP, still with the rotary.
I have an ARE hard tonneau on my L and it responded very nicely to the 1Z UP & PP - no scratches evident at any time, other than the ones I was removing.
Just a heads up on the Snug Top. Next time I WILL do a spot test.
