Washing towels

What do you use to wash your microfiber towels, terry cloths, and wash mitts?

Mobile guys- where do you wash them?

Sometimes terry towels I use on wheel wells, etc. get so nasty I don't want to wash them.

What do you do?

I throw all my mfs(only mfs) in the washing machine or hand wash them together. Sometimes ill throw in foam pads since they don't have any lint with the mfs. As for terry, id throw them in with w/e clothes you have at home and just use em for scrap. Wash mitts get handwashed, and if they are sheepskin, I would suggest getting woolite.

MF's all together. Usually delicate cycle like the directions on them say. If they are very covered in product, I usually pretreat them by spraying with Simple Green and soaking them in hot water (sink) with Shout Oxy Power, then proceed to the delicate washing cycle with detergent.

My nasty rags I usually do all together on a heavy cycle with the extra rinse. Ones with a lot of product or gunk, pre-spray with Simple Green. I put a good amount of Shout OxyPower in there as well.

The normally soiled towels and rags, I just do heavy wash with a lil extra detergent and some Shout OxyPower.

These all seem to work for me. I never dry my wash mitts in the dryer.

Good Luck and hope everyones techniques help!

Foam hand applicators & PC pads;

Hand wash with dishwash detergent and then rinse until clean

MF's;

Pre soak in washing detergent and hot water then into machine at 60 or 90 degrees with 2 extra rinses and air dry

Cotton wash pads;

Hand wash using mild washing detergent and then rinse and air dry

Wheel towels etc;

Machine wash with clothes as they're never going near paintwork!

Hope this helps
