Washing Microfibers?

I have always seperated my good MFs from my other MFs. I wash on "warm", second rinse and put some Woolite in there. Works like a charm. I air dry them.

If I've got stuff like polish, wax, or other things that repel water and screw up the absorbancy of my towels I like to wash them in the machine with detergent AND some simple green. I find that helps revive them a bit more than just a regular wash. I apply aquawax while drying my car, and if I don't use simple green in the wash my drying towels don't work quite as well after washing.

good point dshreter, i find that after klasse mine are the same way. ill try the simple green, they said the vinager would work too

i have some mf but for some reason after a number of times using it, it looses its ability to suck up water. they stay fluffy but they become less water absorber. I wash it with a detergent and no softener. also add a spoon of vinegar at the end of wash and hang dry them. any one had these prob. before?

I have had great results washing on hot with tide with a splash of Simple Green concentrate, tumble dry low.

I actually have had my crappy microfibers from BJ's turn out much softer and absorbent afterwards.

liquid tide in warm water with a scoop of oxyclean (if they're really dirty) and some vinegar added to the last rinse cycle (to help rid any leftover detergent/residue). off into the dryer on the lowest heat setting with NO fabric softener/dryer sheets...

There's probably detergent still left in your towels. I'd either run them through a hot wash cycle with no detergent or add more vinegar during your rinse cycle. Also check that your detergent doesn't have added softeners in it.
