Washing Microfiber towels and terry cloth?

Anyone have issue with washer longevity etc washing dirty (with cleaning chemicals , sealants etc) MF towel in washing machines? I only ask since I bought a Whirlpool Duet 9400 Front loader ($1200) about 6 months ago and do not want to destroy it. I currently use the laundry mat for my towels.

Also I do not even know (have to look) to see if you can even use Charlies in a front loader.

I have a front loading Bosch and wouldn't think twice about washing mf detailing towels in it. The liquid Charlie's Soap works great in it too. I only use about 1/8-1/4 cup per load.

I know someone posted a link to get it on-line earlier in this thread but can you also get the Charlie's liquid soap at local supermarkets? Thanks.

I found a pre-soak with 2oz of Chalies APC in a Gallon of water did it for me.

Aye i think presoak is the king.

After i replied to this thread yesterday I took half my used towels from this weekend and using my linked cleaner ran them through a heavy duty 150 degree hot wash, then i took the 2nd half and using the same amount of soap soaked them for an hour, then started the wash.

The difference is substantial. Enough so that i went back and soaked the first load and rewashed them.

Even i needed to be reminded of the cardinal rule of cleaning. You need 3 things,

TIME

HEAT

Agitation/chemical reaction

By giving the 150 degree water more time I substantially increased the chemical reaction/cleaning process of the detergent. The MF towels were far cleaner than i had ever gotten them before, along with being significantly loftier and IMHO softer.

anywho
