Washing Frequency

Hi all, I would like to know how frequent you guys wash your car. I've come across people who washes:



1) twice daily

2) once daily

3) once every two/three days

4) once a week

5) once every two/three weeks

6) once a month



Just for my info only. :)
 
If warm enough, I do a hose wash once or twice a week. I may use S&W in between washes. I also try to quick detail after each wash.
 
Once to twice per week. One of those times I'll probably QD as well.

I use my OXO duster every day or two. It only takes a minute...why not? :)
 
It rains very frequent in my country. Recently, it rains almost everyday. Worst thing is hot sun comes out after rain. I feel that the only way to preserve the finish in tip top condition is to perform daily wash.
 
I guess that is the only way to preserve the finish but man is it a lot of work. I think if you protect your car with a quality sealant, you will have no problems with once a week. Even if it rains, the sealant will provide enough protection to carry you till the weekend. At least that is my opinion.
 
Once a week if the weather is OK on the weekend. I do not wash it during the week because I get home too late, and I'm tired. If it's raining all weekend, it can wait 'til the following weekend.



I do check for bird droppings and tree sap or whatever very carefully. I don't let stuff sit that could harm the paint. If I find anything like that, I use a QD and MF towel to remove it before it sets in.



Personally, I'd love to have a freshly washed car all the time, but I'm not sure anyone other than Accumulator is careful enough to wash their car constantly without causing some swirling. I think for me once a week is plenty.
 
Once a week...I am like Loco in that by the time I get home I am wiped out. Saturday mornings are my time in the zone. I keep a MF & QD in the car at all times for bugs and bird sh*t.

I'll wash about once a week or if it calls for rain I'll wait till after it rains. I'll QD if the car is just lightly dusty but if is heavly dusted or dirty I wont touch it untill wash day. The garage queen will get washed maybe 3-4 times from spring till winter. I probably QD that car more than needed just because I have to do something with it, I just cant keep my hands off of it. (which probably isn't a good thing.):o
 
Twice a week for me. Usually mid-week, then over the weekend. I always wash after a rain too. The acid rain in the NE is nasty!
