Washing after sealant application

Hey all,



Is there anything wrong with washing aproximately 15 minutes after applying sealant? Or does this strip it since it hasn't had time to cure?

No special reason, but I would wait. Most soap won't remove sealants but most sealants need at least a few hours to really set up. One I use takes approx 24 hours to "set". Just my opinion, be it right or wrong..........

I would wait 24 hours before applying water. If I had to remove something from the paint finish after completing a sealant job, I would use QD to clean the car.

Some products (NXT comes to mind) do NOT fare well when washed (or even QDed) too soon. Better to wait.
