Washed, Clayed, Polished, and Sealed

Got the Hang of it Now
Today I experiemented for my first time with Clay. I Was very happy with the results as it left an unbelievably smooth surface to what I thought was already smooth. Man, clay is really amazing stuff.

I used:

NXT Car wash
Mothers Clay
MEGS Color X
Mothers Cleaner Carnuba
Mothers Wheel Polish
Eagle One A2Z
Mothers FX Tire Shine

All in all, it took me about 6 hours as I did not need that much work on the wheels because I already poilshed them the other day. Please criticize as needed and/or compliment. :D

P.S. Sorry about the shirt being off, its about 105F here and 96% humidity in Louisiana.

LMAO, thanks man. I was wondering the same thing about the trailor because I need to rent a little UHaul and go pick up and washer and dryer for the new house and its in Biloxi. Im guessing that if its under 500lbs it would be ok. I ave seen people pulling jetskis behind a honda accord 4 cyclinder, so the Scion should not have much of a problem pulling one of those small UHauls I would think. Now, add in a washer and dryer and Im starting to have doubts. I guess a washer and dryer would be about the same weight as a couple jetskits.

Hey greg, do you think the detail job came out ok? any suggestions on something I could have done to make things better? My camera sucks so picture quality isnt that good. I cleaned the suspension springs as well. You can see them in the first picture, they are white. Freakin scratched my back all up getting under the truck

I was just curious. Those scions would look awesome for a mobile detailer but I dont know if they could pull the water tank and generator and all the other goodies. I guess I will have to go with the dodge ram rumblebee instead. This is all 5 years from now but I like to think in advance haha.

You'e right about the camara quality. Wait until the sun goes down a little. All the pics look bleached out. The reflections look nice but the color quality and depth cannot be detemined with the above pics.

Sorry I didnt see that last blurb. It looks good. The picture quality isnt perfect but It looks like you did a nice job!

Ok I just took some better pictures in better lighting. These should show a bit more of the depth I had hoped to reach with the detail.

SCION PAINT IS DONE VERY WELL.

mothers cleaner catrnuba gave it good depth but u'll probably have to reapply in 3 weeks.

I would reapply a carnuaba, but I would be hesitant on reapplying a "cleaner" carnuaba, because it will remove whatever is left.

How bout a pure carnauba wax (non cleaner type) and something to protect your headlights turning yellow :)

Looks great! I really like your choice of rims too, they look great on the XB!

thanks alot. i put alot of thought into the wheels and tires. those set me back a good bit, but they are worth it in my eyes.
