wash mitts

Ive asked this in another post but didnt get as many responses as I wanted so here it goes again what is better wool or chennile

I prefer the wool mitts...with the chenille you're always have pieces fall off and getting stuck in the crevices...even if you wash them.

I use wool on my not so dirty cars, and chenille on the very dirty ones. I also have a mf one, but haven't used it yet. I've heard they can trap dirt, so I'm a little apprehensive on that one.

I've found a thumbless mitt at Pepboyz for around $4...they're great and they truly last a long time with virtually no shedding. IIRC, they're from Turtle Wax. Great product.

I just picked up a Baja del Sol MF wash mitt at Target last week for around $4....I used it this past weekend...it has me worried. I think I need to find a different task for it. Quality is very good but everything clings to it (even after washing it) and the pile has no depth...it's very similar to the MF wax applicators that get sent out as freebies.

Eurow from Wal Mart all the way for me :xyxthumbs Just be sure to "pick them like fruit" :D :up

Thanks guys ive decided to go with wool autopia has wash and dry trio thats a bargain so im about to place a order.

:bounce

i prefer the wool mitts..

i have the mf and they just feel too heavy and awkward .. and tend to give less "sud" action.. jmho

Eurow is a brand carried by Walmart, from everything I see about them, they are identical to other sheepskin mitts sold elsewhere under other brands for up to double the price.

I prefer the Turtle Wax Chenille Wash Pads from PepBoys.

I have tried the two types from Wal-Mart and the Pinnacle ones and the Turtle Wax blows them away.

Be extra careful you don't drop a pad, no issue with a mitt. Also, doesn't chenille lint like crazy in the dryer? I can't stand it.

I bought one, pulled out a strand and burned it. It curled up into a black, hard, plastic ball which indicates it ain't cotton.

I use wool mitts, my favorite being the discontinued black mitt from CMA. Griot's seems to have a nice one - a little more expensive but plusher than the Turtle Wax, Baja Sol, Eurow, Viking and Costco pack (all of which I have, and all of which are IDENTICAL)

I have also tried the sea sponge and have grown to like it. It doesn't cover as much surface area, but its durable and soft when wet and saturated.

Oh yeah, that was very apparent to me as well, I have just stalked Wal-Mart until they got sufficient mitts in :D
