I used to wash my microfiber and cotton towels together, no more. The microfiber cloths seem to pull in the lint from anything non-microfiber in the wash. My microfibers perform significantly better now that they get their own dedicated wash.
After you use them and you are ready to wash them. Put vinegar in the final rinse cycle of you washer. The vinegar will help to throughly rinse all the soap residue and any wax or polish that is left in your MF's.
