Is it good/necessary to wash again after you have already clayed? What is the reason?
After the first wash would you have to dry?

So it's: wash; rinse; clay; wash; rinse. That second wash only takes a moment and it helps remove all the clay lube just a little better than merely rinsing. The lube I usually use (Glyde) is mighty soapy and I just feel better having washed it again.
But if it's a serious claying that I'm doing after the wash (which also means I'll be polishing), then I juse try to wipe things down as best I can with a QD and I let the polishing take care of anything that's left.
