I just use a old five gallon bucket that used to be filled with drywall compound. After we used it all, just cleaned out the bucket and use that. Plus its a lot cheaper.

Yup, then just put a sort of mesh in the bottom to protect from grit, and there ya have it, a top of the line bucket.

Also, I use their orange 5 gallon paint buckets that go for like $5 a piece. I use two for the two bucket method. I bought wheel dollies to push them around on. I think this is the best and cheapest wash bucket scenario you can get.

You know, my wash mit always floates on top of the water, it never sinks to the bottom. Either I have magic wash mits, or some of you are really crazy about this!

Did your bucket come with casters? It seems *my* Home Depot has the bucket (Ettore), but without casters. :nixweiss

I bought one of those Black Magic buckets at Walmart for $10.00 with the grit trap in the bottom. I believe it holds 4 gallons. I recently relocated from Texas to North Carolina and had to wash my car after the road trip. It took two full buckets of car wash/water to clean the car. So, I can see situations where that much solution would be a good thing.

I suspect you can order the casters from them if you need.



Ettore makes a couple of azz-kicking floor squeegees and some other toys for the garage/around home....





Conceptually, a bucket should be tall and narrow, not short and squat. The caster thing doesn't work either unless your driveway is level.
