was this guy right? (advice from other people)

I was at pepboys picking up some Megs #9 swirl remover. So this guy stands next to me and we started making small talk. He was telling me how he works with paint and that the #9 is supposed to used for AFTER the wax to fill in the swirls and make everything look smooth.



I'm pretty sure he's wrong, but i just wanted to check in with you guys.



I was going to use it as a pre-wax polish
 
Sheesh, and to think I almost was going to give some advice today at Pep Boys. I hope mine would have been better than 180 degrees wrong like the advice you got.

What does he mean when he says work with paint? He works in a body shop and paints cars? That's scary. Anyhow, you are correct in your thinking. Good job for raising the red flag on this one.
