In most cases, these are printed onto the visor and cause damage taht's worse than the warning sticker itself.
In the Viper, the visors are the same left and right, so I just swapped them, placing the warnings against the headliner. In case, luckily, there were no vanity mirrors, etc to mess up this process.
those labels are usually applied with heat. They can be tough to remove but it's worthwhile not to have to look at them, IMO.
I've used denatured alcohol and lacquer thinner (not together) and removed them in several vehicles. It's not unusual to have a ghost shadow left behind but it's far less offensive than the fugly sticker.
This has been mentioned hundreds of times but I will go over it again.........................................
some people use a hair dryer(when it gets heated up you SLOWLY peel it away)
This is what I did on my 3 cars and it worked like a charm.
I used 3M glue remover (I soaked the label and dampened a paper towel.
Start on a corner and keep it wet PEEL it ever so slowley keeping the label WET.It will peel off the take 3m glue remover and and wipe down sun viser where you removed warning sticker DOESN'T have to be 3M you can use any good glue remover but the better you have the easier it comes off and remember the KEY WORD SLOWLY
I recently removed the warning labels from a 2004 SC 430 and used Goof Off. I applied it several times and let it soak in for about 1/2 hour. The used a terry towel with more of the "Goof" and kept rubbing until it started to lift and continued until it was removed. I then used lacquer thinner to remove the remaining adhesive. The visor material (vinyl) looked a little wavy afterwards but came back to its original form once the vinyl dried. Not real fast but very effective.
Good Luck Horseman2475, I tried getting those darn warning labels off the visors of my Acura but no go. :down
I tried diff products (goof off, etc.) but I'm thinking these are not your run of the mill labels 'cause they're still there!
I'd swear they're permanently bonded to the visors. Out of desperation I put a piece of duct tape over the label, (yes, duct tape- and yet another purpose for the stuff!). Fortunately it's almost the same color as the visor. It's not a permanent solution but for now it will have to do.
If you go to Bimmerfest.com they have in the FAQ a procedure to do it. They use Goo Gone. After you do it the visor looks bad for a few hours, all swelled up but it does dry and return to normal at least on the BMW Vinyl Visors....
