Wanting to try a sealant on my car.

I've uses carnuba all my life and really would like to try a sealant on my car. It's a daily driver and i feel the added protection may be worth what little depth i'd loose with my normal SEC and s100 combo.



The car is a Hellrot (RED) BMW m3. The two top contenders for me seem to be SG and UPP. Wich one should i go with for my red car, and what doyou recomend for prep before the sealant goes on?
 
Buy AIO / SG. Check it out. Make sure not to use any GEPC in the process.

I think Poorboy's Polish w/carnauba and EX Sealant look great on red and I've had good durability results with Poorboy's products. The currect EX sealant also has carnauba in it, but the pure sealant version of EX (aka EX-P) will be out pretty soon.



PwC/EX will give you the carnauba look you like with good (based on my experience) durability.



I also like Meguiars NXT, but it hasn't been out long enough to know how durable it will prove to be. Meguiars #20 topped with their #16 Pro Paste Wax is another combo I am testing for durability. Check back in 3 months or so... ;)



You can't go wrong with the Klasse Twins or AIO/SG/UPP either.
 
I have used AIO with UPP on top with great success on red cars. But as others have said, AIO+SG isn't bad either.
 
Thanks to forum recommendations....I followed these steps on my SS & am very happy with the appearance. AIO,DACP, SMR/dark,AIO,SGx3,UPPx2.....It's not red but it's deep & glossy.

I really like PwC and EX on my red truck, but I always end up topping it with S100.



I'm a big carnuba fan too :xyxthumbs
 
I love the EX topped with Poorboys paste wax. I don't have experience with other combos.

Sure, although I don't think S100 would add as much as Souveran when used over UPP since S100 is bright and reflective like UPP. Souveran has a somewhat deeper look.



PwC and EX is the most user friendly combo, btw.
