Am I missing something here? Isn't it easier to just buy a kit at a local store?

I was thinking the same thing

shftup,

a clay kit is like $12.. sometimes u can catch them onsale at the autoparts store for $10

Yeah, and with the recent threads about legal suits on which companies are allowed to market clay, I'll bet most folks are gonna hang on to what they have. Sounds like prices are gonna be headed up for awhile.

I am in Canada, and usually it costs more CAD. Additionally, I know that there usually someone around who has extra or changed products for one reason or another. Just wanted to see before I go ahead with an order State side.

I don't think you will see anymore legal action with clay. That's all over.

What we are likely to see now is more "value based" packaging of clay. The new Meguiar's clay kit is a good example. This is being driven by the cost of clay at the manufacturer level. As the cost of clay increases, it becomes more and more difficult to sell it on the retail shelf where a modest "Joe Six Pak" cart price is essential.
