Want to learn from a PRO?

I SPOKE WITH MY MOM LAST NIGHT WHEN SHE GOT HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL, HE HAD 2 ARTIES CLOGGED AT 95%. THEY GAVE HIM A DOUBLE STENT (SPL) TO OPEN THEM UP. THEY ARE GOING TO GIVE HIM ONE MORE ON WED.



I DID NOT LEAVE FOR FLORIDA YET AS I AM WAITING FOR HIM TO COME HOME FIRST, THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO WHILE HE IS IN THE HOSPITAL. THE DR'S SAID THAT HE WILL BE FINE, I WILL NO MORE ON WED. IF I END UP NOT GOING TO FLORIDA AND PEOPLE STILL WANT TO COME TO ME LAST MINUTE WE CAN STILL DO THIS, OR WE CAN JUST SET UP A NEW DATE.
 
Depend how you feel. Like many other peoples said....family come 1st! It's good to heard some good news though(coming home part) :xyxthumbs
 
Don't worry about us! Do what you have to do! We can learn anytime (maybe). Most of us planning to attend have set the weekend aside for the event. I will not change my plans and if you can host this weekend, I will attend. I don't mean to sound selfish or cold but if you do the event it will definitely take your mind off of Florida's problems.
 
well make sure your dad is ok first and then worry about hosting. If you do decide to do it i'll be there but make sure you feel ok first.
 
Well I got some good news today, he will not need a bypass and another stent will be put in today. I will know more by the end of the day, but it looks like i will be around this weekend. The only thing i see as a problem now is the weather. They say rain for saturday

NYD, glad to hear that things are looking up for your dad! As for Saturday is concern if it's dry I'll be there. If it rains there's always next time.
 
So is this a go or no go? It's a pretty decent trip for me so I'm gonna need to know beforehand so I can make arrangements. Either way I just need to know, thanks.
 
Just checked the local weather in SI, Ny and Saterday is starting to look like a wash out. I suggest that we reschedule due to everything that has happened this last week plus the bad weather that is heading our way. This is only a suggestions at this point.
 
Just to give an update.. they sent my dad home today and he should be doing much better.



This saturday will be rain all day. So lets pick another day.



Who wants to start the day picking
 
Unfortunately thats too soon for me since I need to schedule my time off at least 3 weeks in advance... but if its good for everyone else I'll try to work something out somehow...
 
i'm happy to hear your dad is ok. As far as next week i really cant do it either....i'd need a few weeks again to get off from work
