Want one on one session on polishing in the South bay/Silicon valley area.

I am looking for a one on one session so that I can learn the ins and outs of polishing my own cars. Anybody know of any detailers that offer such a service?

Surely someone will chime in though in your area. AGO might have some that`d help (if you`re a member over there).

The 2nd best thing to a personal mentor would be The Junkman`s videos on You Tube. He gets up close and personal on the `how-tos` of machine polishing. I`ve been machine polishing for over 20 years and he reminded me of things I had forgotten, bad habits I had picked up and things I was straight out doing wrong.

He CAN BE long-winded, but it`s worth spending a weekend and watching all the videos.

If you were in Ohio, I`d be glad to show you the basics.
 
If you are near the Irvine area or want to take a drive, Meguiar`s offers Saturday classes as well as their Thursday Night Garages. All that info can be found on the Meguiar`s forum.
 
He is about 400 miles from Irvine.. :)
