I thought I would do a quick step by step of cleaning cup holders since it came up a few times

nasty right?

Here I have one of my cheapy paint brushes(40 cents at hardware store) that always get destroyed. Make sure you tape the metal edge to ensure you dont scratch anything with it. In the bottle I have some citrus APC

Spray APC in the cup holders and depending on how bad they are might want to let it soak for a little bit(Make sure to always use proper delution ratios on your APC because some APC can damage plastics if its to strong).

Agitate with your paint brush till it looks like soup, but dont try to eat it. The gold fish all over this car are ok to eat though. Using your Microfibers that do dirty work wipe soup up, blow with compressed air or reverse vacuum if needed.

Handled! This process was repeated 3 times before I got the results.

Thanks for looking hope this helps

Great tips. Thanks for posting this. What APC do you like to use and at what dilution ratio?
I use a P&S product because we go through soooooo much APC it's call Enviro Clean and for interiors I dilute it about 10:1. I think it's pretty much same stuff as that orange citrus clean stuff. Except $56 for 5 gallons and it last us about 45 days.

Great Idea. I usually get a foam cup of instant hot water and pour it in, let it sit and wipe out. It is just easier than heating up the steamer!

Good Idea on the brush, I have used a rubberband on a round one as well.

I have something similar with my swissvax brushes but putting a rubber band on the bristles to shorten the effective length to improve the stiffness.
