Wal-Mart Microfiber

I use the wallmart microfibers. No problems. I usually buy a pack everytime I get to wallmart, so I have a bunch

Same here. For me they are regulated to door jambs, engine touch ups, an wheel cleaning. I save my good MF's for buffing, wax removal, and QDing.

i have about 30 of the wal mart towels. I love them.

I bought some MFs from topoftheline and they lint HORRIBLY. My wal mart ones have not linted at all after 4 washes. Only complaint is they are so small!

I suspect that there are two different vendors supplying the MF towels at Walmart. The ones I've seen are the threadbare variety. Snap them in the air and watch the fibers fly. Except those held in place by that glued on tag.

As an interesting information add-on, all of my Wal*Mart mf's have turned into parallelograms. Not some. All. They still don't lint and they act as my wheel, tire, doorjam workhorses but they are a arse-ache to fold.

My tags ripped right off? They definitely weren't glued on. They do lint some, so they mostly see wheel drying/door jamb/underhood duty.

Try Autozone and the Turtle Wax MF's--a 2 pack--one light blue and one yellow, these are all I use on my Mustang. :up

I have about 35 of these blue and white towels. I've had mixed results. I find they lint a lot and the borders/corners seem to curl after a couple washes. I also find that they don't work well when picking up liquids like water or polish. (I get lint) I will only use these for door jams or other non-painted areas.

a smaller size WW drying towel? I have a few of Ranney's large (2' x 3') WW towels and they are 1st class. Problem is that one is not quite enough and I don't feel like wetting a 2nd large towel to do just a little touch up drying. Has anyone seen an inexpensive, small WW towel  That would be really helpful to me.

I've tried regular MF towels but they really don't do much in the drying dept.

thx.

Jt international has some that are about 12"x16" or he used too. I think they were 6 or 7 dollars maybe less. Haven't ordered or even heard about him in awhile but worth a shot jtintern@hotmail.com I think. Do a search and you should find out for sure.

I'll just order from David. I am happy to be able to give him the business.

The size of these towels looks just about right for my needs.
