This was a BIG job, 2 complete days of :buffing:

Rock hard paint, swirls and some heavy RDS damage.

First, unusually, some full body shots, the only ones I got as it went dark on day 2.

and the only shot after LSP application

Wheels cleaned with Carlack68 and Vikan brushes.

Sonus mit, towel and shampoo on bodywork.

Clayed with CYC yellow -

Then taped up and ready to go -

After LOTS of trial, the weapon of choice was Menz Polishing pad, and a 1:1 mix of Menz IP and Megs #83. With the metabo rotary.

Here's some 50/50 -

and after correction -

and I like the depth achieved in this one -

Carlack NSC as pe-wax cleaner then Swis.BOS to finish.

Some reflection shots - these are before LSP application, I new it'd be too dark after, so took these beforehand.

No wax or sealant at all, just the bare polished finish. Just goes to prove, a good finish is just as much about the surface prep, as the chosen LSP.

This is my favourite reflection shot to date -

Thanks for the owner Garys helping hand removing the NSC and other bits as the darkness quickly approached.

Thanks for reading.

I wish we got cooler cars here. That looks like a better looking, VW version of the xB/bB. Those wheels look sweet but I'd hate to clean them! Nice work!

I'm not a big fan of vans, but that one takes the cake! Beautiful work. Love the wheels by the way.

Man, that last reflection shot is CRAZY! is it the back window??

No, solid back doors, I really like that shot myself, no LSP either.

Thanks for all comments, much appreciated, and those wheels are a mare to clean.
