I would assume that there would be more fallout/contaminants on the hood/bonnet and the top of the car relative to a vertical surface panel such as the passenger door. Did you find that to be true, and if so, how did the entire clay process go?



The claying process took two of us over an hour to complete, as we clayed the car twice owing to the amount of contaminants removed the first time, we decided it best to clay again. We used about 1/4 - 1/3 of the Meguiars Detailer Blue clay on the car, regularly folding the clay to fold the dirt in as I find I can easily expose more clean sides this way and my clay bars last longer. :)
