Okay I just joined this site and a newbie but today I ordered a ton of cleaning supplies and got a PC. I can't wait to detail my car. However, today I detailed my car using the following items:

Washed with Meguiars Deep Crystal Car Wash

Clayed with Meguiars Clay Detailing System

Waxed with Gold Class Liquid Wax.

I'm curious to find out how the paint is on the Volvo's if it's thick or thin, hard or soft. I have some very minor swirls and want my car looking awesome.

Here's what I ordered:

Picked up a Porter Cable from Lowes

Sonus SFX Foam Pad Kit

Sonus SFX Ultra Fine Clay

Sonus Block Detailing Clay

P21S Carnuba Wax

Klassee AIO

Wenol Metal Polish

Excel 6" and 5" Counter Weight

SSR1

SSR2

SSR3

That should do it for now.

What'd you order?

Anyway for Last step products...

On red? OCW looked good. If you want the absolute best? Souveran.

That's a great car :up But why did you change the wheels? I surelly prefer Volvo's OEM ones :xyxthumbs

Although I love the Pegs, a lot of people put them on plain Volvo's and I wanted something different. Also, they are quite heavy wheels and was a bit too stock for me.

What wheels are those? I like them. Are they 17's rather than the stock 18's? They look slightly smaller. Did the weight savings make any noticeable difference in the butt dyno?

How is the R? Any issues as of yet?

BTW, The R looks amazing already, I cannot wait to see it after you're done with the new stuff.

The wheels are Evolve H5 wheels and they are 18's. They look smaller however it's because of the cut I think. As far as butt dyno I can't really tell as I put a 3" full ceramic downpipe on it the same time I changed the wheels.

Love the R as it's such a sleeper however, there are minor issues at times but no different than any other car.
