All,

I am interested in trying this combination on my car. Does anyone know where I can order both VM and EX-P from? I found one online retailer that sells both products www.specialtymotoring.com But they are on vacation til next week :(

Thank you

Rich Maurin

It's a shame SMP is going on vacation. The 1-2 Punch kit I ordered is awesome and the price is quite good. The packaging was very professional and instructions on application were included. An overall great experience with SMP.

Specialty Motoring is a good shop but I understand you want to get your stuff soon. I ordered from them last Thursday night at like midnight and they shipped my order Friday morning.

PakShak may offer free shipping, but you are paying a big premium for it since they are in Hawaii and it costs them a ton to ship to the mainland...check their prices for PB agains SMP and you'll see what I mean. I'm sure they have great stuff & service, but I can't see paying a premium.

You're talking about something you obviously know nothing about. My orders from Pak Shak usually have the cheapest shipping of all places I order. Again, I say to check out the Autopian prices; you pay for shipping, but the prices are very nice.

The Autopian prices aren't on their website...They have EX-P @ $19 for 16 oz...PB, PAC, SMP & others have it for $14.95/$15.

The SSRs are $19 each...I paid $12 from Premium Auto Care...I placed a large order so I got free shipping to boot. Oh, I got a 10% discount too.

What is the Autopian discount for those of us that are not enlightened such as yourself?? You must be implying that you need to CALL and ask for the discount...I didn't make that ASSumption.

Yes, you have to call/email for the discounted prices.

Calm down, bud.

Everything's cool...

it would be nice to know what the discount is. I have ordered from about 6 different places over the last few months because everyone carries different stuff...obviously there is a lot of product overlap, but there isn't anyone that carries EVERYTHING.

I've learned the hard way to wait and try to order as much as possible from a single place to save on shipping and try to evaluate any vendor based on the total cost of the order...not just the price or shipping...if I knew the true prices without having to call I would be more likely to order.

The point I was trying to make is that we can help each other out with discount codes and that will help the vendors too because they will be more likely to get my business.

Ranney is a super nice guy (on the phone and by email). Figure out what you want and email him about the pricing, including shipping. He's extremely competitive on products and unbelievable on towels.

Thanks for the tip...and for ensuring accurate info is posted.

I am interested in this "autopian" pricing as well as I am not familiar with it. I hear all these great things about thier MF's and I went to check out thier site and I was blown away by thier prices. Some things are literally 100% mark-up over other retailers! Next time I order I'll have to give him a call.

These kind of things should really be posted in the "Good Deals" forum. Maybe make an 'Autopian Discount' sticky with a list of discounts?!?
