Vinegar didn't work for water spot? What next?

none of my clay removes acid rain or hard water spots, i use 3m heavy compound to remove most of my glass needs. works pretty well, not as much elbow grease as suggested with another product you guys were talking about.

I'd go with the pad that cuts the best, whatever resembles felt the closest. If I'd seen the post earlier I would have chimed in with either the Autoglym you used or a product called cerium oxide. It comes as a kit made for polishing glass. JC Whitney sells the kit of the powder plus a felt pad, about 3 inches that fits into a power drill. Mix up a slurry and go at it. I removed wiper scratches on the wife's Camaro about 3 years ago and the windshield is perfect so it would eat water marks for breakfast. The kit was cheap and I still have tons of product left. Cerium oxide is used in the astronomy area to polish lenses so it's made for glass.

Autoglym Glass Polish worked really well and I was pleasantly surprised. Its just that I think it will go much easier with a PC. Application by hand I think would be the end of my arm for a few days.

I also tried Glass Scrub yesterday on the small windows on the rear passenger door. The directions say to apply to wet glass so I applied after washing and before drying. It worked really well with a single application. Granted the water spotting on my car isn't very severe, I think I have found a product with a simple application that I can use during a wash. It was so easy that I can probably clean one or two glass panels every time I wash my car to maintain their clarity.

Forgot my camera at home today, so I will try to post pics tomorrow.
