Viking Foam Core WW Drying Towel

I used this new type of mf towel yesterday and really like it.

What's different - it has a stiff foam core that keeps the towel more or less square even when slightly wet. I belive Viking makes the Mothers version as well.

Here are some thoughts:

1. Performance - Works well but gets better as it is slightly damp. What's nice is that a big drying towel won't go to the driveway or floor while drying down low due to the stiffness of the towel which makes it easier to control.

2. Color/Packaging - Washes and cleans up well. Has a cleaning instruction tag which is silk like but probably should be removed. Nice grey color.

3. Quality - Waffle weave of 30/70 construction from Korea. Approx. 23 inches by 19 inches square, edging in place.

Highly recommended. :)

Have you used it for anything else?

The WW foam core towel that I have is great to use as a QD towel after a wash. I have several from SMP, that Scott sent me, and I love them!!

Wow I just realized something. This should make it a lot easier to do the 'blot method' for drying. I always have a rough time with that with regular WW's but it looks like this may be a solution to my problem.
So would the process be to just set it down, apply a little pressure, pick up move to the next section? That would be ideal! No more trying to mess around with folding a big wet towel or having it open up when you dont want it to. :rockon

I don't remember how much I paid...I will look into it. Sorry, that is a key question I should have answered.

Is it big enough to dry a car? or you needed a second wwmf?
With the existing wwmf sometimes I need to use PAC's smaller grey wwmf for the finishing job.

Do you think if you wring the wwmf, the foam core will come apart ?

Thanks
