VIDEO: 3-days in 3-minutes

Hello all,

Just wanted to share a video (link below) that shines a little more light on the paint correction process, custom-made tools and labor-intensive detailing in general. This was a 3-day process condensed into 3+minutes, please enjoy!

I hope this does not come across as some lousy advertising scheme or an attempt to gain a few views - I could care less about that as it is more about the commitment we make to such an underrated skill/talent in detailing or correcting.

Let me know what you think - good, bad, and the ugly...

Keep it mint and stay warm.

Interesting video, I enjoyed viewing it. I think the best use of it is as a marketing tool to your potential customers. As a presentation to this audience it's kind of like watching a 3 minute before and after. I mean no disrespect in that comment but if you were to show all before and afters in this manner I probably wouldn't watch. The creativity is great and the video is excellent but it doesn't spend enough time on any one particular facet to highlight/teach/spotlight that service or product. As stated, I think it's an excellent tool to show your customers what your all about.

I thought you did a excellent job on the video shoot...great camera angles...your work looked great too.....at least I didn't fall asleep watching this....thats a good thing.....I have seen so many before and after pics...people seem to drag them out for way too long...I'm talking 40-50 pictures.....Excellent Job !!

Thanks for watching and the feedback...

A while back I read an article about RO or DA extensions - it said to avoid them due to imbalances and other risks (like it unscrewing). I took that into account when designing this prototype, as well as the length. Some of the extensions currently offered can be too short, bulky, cumbersome. They all functioned properly but none seemed to provide enough clearance which made the piece useless (at least for me). Basically, I needed a tool/device/extension that would make those tight corrections more of a joy than a headache. The goal was to minimize the risk of damaging the vehicle with the polisher and make it easy to polish the areas that might otherwise be avoided. Expert or not, accidents happen.

On amazon. Grex AOS368 2-Inch 105-Degree Angle Random Orbital Sander. Add on the 1" backing plate if you want to go even smaller. The 1" is shown in the video.

Thanks for watching!
