Yes, removing the handle helps, and the small breaks in between panels to reapply product helps. Also I've heard some people use mechanic's gloves as a kind of shock absorber.
 
this thing doesnt have handles like some that i've seen....its just got a little grip on top and thats it....

i was stopping to switch covers on every pannel.....had one for getting the wax on nice and good, and another for getting it off. worked pretty good.

Hmm...i'll try the gloves....
 
I use mountain biking gloves for some of my stuff - the full finger models. They have nice amounts of padding to stop vibrations, breathe very easily, and mine even have a soft terry cloth on the back of the thumb so you can wipe sweat off your forehead. :xyxthumbs
 
If you already have the pc, don't bother with the cyclo. Get a rotary instead if you need to remove anything that you can't get out with a pc.

if you're reffering to a PC 7424 0r 7335 I think you may solve your problem with a $5 item...go get a "6 inch counterweight"...the "6 inch" means for a 6 inch pad...the weight isn't 6 inches...you can find out if it's a 5 inch by removing the backing plate and looking at the label on the half moon shaped counterweight.
