Veyrons are fast, but cannot skim on water

Ironic thing- The owner/driver of the Veyron runs a business that restores salvaged, wrecked, repo'd exotic cars. I forget his name...Andy House, yeah that's it.

Publicity stunt? Speculation.

No, not a publicity stunt. Insurance fraud. Apparently this guy has had past problems with the law according to some comments I saw on the Lufkin paper website today. That's where his salvage business is based. I guarantee a bizarre end to this story.

Err, yeah. Conspiracy is what I meant . Conspiring to defraud the insurance company or something. I like how there just happened to be someone recording the event with their high-quality camera/phone :hmph:. Interested to hear the results later on.

Now I'm starting to wonder. I know a lot of people would take out their phones to get a video of a car of this caliber, but it is fishy that they just so happened to film that at that very moment. If they were really in such awe of the car then why weren't they closer to it or following it even to get a closer picture. And maybe they were acting like idiots who don't know the difference between a Lambo and a Bugatti? Maybe they knew exactly what they were looking at and just acting to throw us off. Yea, I'm going way out there trying to come up with every scenario but it's interesting to speculate. Why did the video just come to a halt without hearing more of their comments on what they just saw.

Agreed!

You know what; that's a pet peeve of mine that is reflected in about 75% of all viral videos I've ever seen. :furious: (Perhaps that's why they are viral?)

The clips come to an abrupt halt and rarely show the results of the event.

But this is an entirely different topic that deserves its own thread in a psychology forum...:nixweiss. Interesting nonetheless!

All I want to know is , "WHERE IS THE BIRD"? You see no bird on the cell phone clip.

This one is a bit fishy (no pun intended).

now with a waiting list for the Veyrons he wont get one for a long while. I read that the new Veyrons cost 1.9 million and the convertible is 2.2 million.
