When applying by hand, how does Perfect-It III Machine Glaze (PN 5937) compare to SMR (PN 39009) and Finesse-It II Finishing Material Machine Polish (PN 39003)? I went to a NAPA store and was planning to buy Finesse-It II but they were all out so I bought the Perfect-It III. I was wanting something a little more aggressive than the SMR that I already have.

Thanks

The PI III Machine Glaze is a mild abrasive for removing light scratches and swirls, and it has no filling properties. The SMR has slight filling properties, but the Machine Glaze does not. The FI II is more agressive than the Machine Glaze. I would rank them like this (least abrasive to most abrasive):

1. SMR

2. PI III Machine Glaze

3. FI II Finishing Material

The PI III Machine Glaze should be fine for removing small fine swirl marks, and light scratches. Some have used PI III Machine Glaze by hand and have had good results, others found that you need to use a PC depending on the level of damage. If the PI III Machine Glaze does not work by hand, then try it with a PC. If you dont have a PC, then try to find FI II Finishing Material. The FI II works great by hand.

I am thawing out... lol.

This is how Ryan and I rolled...

How about a super rare '69 Boss 429 with original paint chillin in -15 degree weather in the middle of a snow storm...

Or the only 427 Shelby Cobra to score 100% at the Shelby nationals with original paint in the same incliment weather (although at this point the temp was about 0. Any colder and the original lacquer would crack.

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao? PUL-lease....

This should be really good.........

PICS!!!

Here is a pretty cool one... Make shift slippers at the tail end of an all night, 22 hours deep (each) into one blurry, long day (which explains not only my slippers but this run on sentence to boot, eh?

Welcome Home Guys!!!!

I'm drooling over your pictures!!!! Gorgeous cars!

Boss-9 is one of my all time favorites...... Numbers matching usually worth between $500k and $1 Mil.:drool5::) (Or whatever the wealthy buyer is willing to pay!)

You're a couple lucky guys to be working on those beasts! But always good to be home.

Very Nice Kevin, not many take full advantage of Mr. Smiley to get a point across. That took skill and you executed it perfectly

thoo1, very nice rides, glad you guys made it back home safe :driving:

You know you have to many cars when you gotta start hanging them from the roof. I've never seen that before :spy:

An original Cobra out in the snow!? I'd keep it in an electric blanket 'til March.

Ummm... let's see... car guy... more money than God... I'd say Jay Leno, but that sure ain't LA.

Thanks for the posts, Todd! I hope you're typing right now.

Amazing stuff guys, ya'll really need a traveling camera crew to document these adventures. Hey, anybody up for a reality show about detailers? I am, some of that other TV stuff makes Gilligan's Island look like Casablanca.

With this 'crew' you have a reality show in the making....
