Very simple question, will AIO remove old wax?

Or do i still need to use alcohol & water mix to remove it? How should I dilute my 70% alcohol (50w/50a or 30w/70a)?

What if I used AIO and then go back to a polish after? Do I have to remove the AIO acrylic layer first before polishing again?

Yeah, an abrasive polish will just cut through the stuff AIO leaves behind, which isn't much.

There's a post somewhere about what dilution to use for the alcohol, I just used it straight the few times I did it.

Just polish with the abrasive first, that will also remove the wax, then follow up with AIO for a clean layer before your lsp.

I was always under the impression that you don't want to polish with a waxed surface, the wax must be removed first. I am using Optimum polish.

Just make sure you pads don't get "clogged"

Yeah, it's a different form of "cleaning". Claying generally only removes above-surface contamination.

And some of us believe that if you're claying aggressively enough to remove all your LSP, then you're claying *too* aggressively ;)
