Very faint dent on hood!

Got a very light dent on hood close to the windshield about the size of a dime. I think a branch hit near the top my hood.



Any average person would not be able not notice it but we are Autopians right.



Thus it's bugging the heck out of me when I see my nice clean hood. I tried to massaged the sheet metal continously for some time with polish and glaze with good pressure but not too much pressure where I would burn thru the clear coat.



This seemed to help a lot with the depth of the dent but I still see it.



Any other things to try?



This is not repaintable issue. If I can not repair I will just hide it with some kind of accent piece like I have done elsewhere on my car.

Yeah, you're, um, not going to have much luck polishing out a dent. In fact, the worse the paint looks, the better the dent is hidden. Polishing will only accentuate it.



Looks like you've got to find a good PDR person in your town, expecially if it drives you that crazy.
