Very Bad Experience W/********.net

That page is not censored because of peoples disatification. It is censored because that company does not wish to advertise here. I was told that It was by request of that particular company. Not by choice of Autopia. So it isnt a ban on our freedom of speech, unless u want to have autopia shut down for legal problems.

I hope this clears up some of the confusion. If this info is wrong im sorry. This is what i was told when i was using that in a post i had a while back. I actually got the name in by using things. But i wouldnt recomend doing that.:nono

edit: by the way. We do not pay for this service of using autopia if that is what you were regarding when u said We pay for this service only to be censored.

No, but some of us have paid for the e-book offered through this site.

I actually had a good expierence with them. I ordered some stuff from CMA but forgot a few things. Nerd place had a free shipping deal so I ordered some stuff from them. Both the CMA and the Nerd place shipped on the same day (next business day after order) I watched the packages through the UPS system and they both arrived on the same day, undamaged and I was satisfied. I guess the old customer service adage is true.

A happy customer will get you 3.

An unhappy customer will lose you 10.

Yes, but the message board is a completly different thing. You pay to use the book and the knowlege of the author.

Arcticwhite,

Thanks for your input on this company. I vaule your opinion and others on where I should be shopping.. Because of your negitive experience and others, I will not be shopping there any longer. If I need anything CMA is just fine, and their people are without a doubt, wonderful. Take care! :xyxthumbs

This is what I understand from a post that has since gone bye-bye as far as I can tell.

www."car"-"nerd/freak/dork".net is being censored due to a legal "dispute".

:argue

So ********.net isn't welcome here and we are ah.... how shall we say, "discouraged" from from.... "visiting" their site. ;)

As I've gone through life I've learned one thing that is always true. If you consult enough people then you can validate any opinion. I can find just as many people who hate a company or a product as you can find who love it. It doesn't mean a whole lot. A few bad apples ruin the bushel. Pick your expression. :p

If how the owners of these companies act is any reflection on what kind of service they offer, then I'm not suprised to hear about people being unhappy. They wanted to whine and moan and groan about Autopians giving them free advertising so we fixed that. Its not censoring your "freedom of expression" or anything like that. If they want to give up the traffic we sent their way then that is their choice. They don't advertise Autopia so why should we advertise them? We don't discourage you from shopping there. Email each other the website addresses all you want. They do have good stuff. Its the same stuff you can get from CMA or 4 Star or anywhere else.

The best deal is the best deal when it comes to shopping for Klasse or something like that though. My company loyalty extends to whoever can put it on my shelf for the lowest price. I'm not paying 5 bucks more for a bottle of Klasse just so I can be loyal to company XYZ, ya know? :p Sometimes the customer service problems are worth getting the best deal. No deal is worth having products opened up when you get them though. That is just inexcusable. I'd be on the phone to the owner of that company as soon as I could. Skip the front line people and go straight to the top when they aren't being professional. If the big cheese is a jerk too then so much for ever shopping at that company again. Burn me once then shame on me. You don't get another chance to do it again. :nono

Supporting the board by purchasing the eBook is completely optional. If you'll notice, not everybody has the Contributing Member status and they are still posting. Its a good source of information, but so is the forum. You can post here for free without the obligation of buying the eBook. However, it is the eBook sales that keep Autopia running so y'alls support is greatly appreciated. :xyxthumbs

In early February I placed an order with www.a-t-g--k.net and received good service. Last week I placed an order with www.p-nn-cl-w-x.com and when I got the email order confirmation found out that they are the same vendor as A-t-G--k! Now I’ve got my fingers crossed!

They also appear to do business as Palm Beach Motoring Accessories, Detail City, Detail Plus, Web-Cars, and possibly others.

I don't know about all that.... where did you get those sites from and what makes you think they are connected? I know for a fact that they aren't all connected.

My recent online order placed with P-nn-cl– W-x was confirmed by A-t-G- -k and the UPS shipping notification for this order came from P-alB--chM-t-r-ngAcc-ss-r--s.

Some email correspondence with Bud Abraham (BUDA) closely links him with DetailPlus, DetailCity, and WebCars.

4Star and Premium Auto Care (not to be confused with Proper Auto Care {CMA}) are obviously either the same vendor, or are closely related.

Since I’m working from memory, not from notes, I can’t recall how I linked these three groups - - so I’m open for correction.

4 Star and premiumautocare.com are the same people. Just like CMA and properautocare.com is the same company. No mystery there. DetailCity is 4 Star's message board. There is no connection to any other company. DetailCity isn't anything more than a message board and its owned by 4 Star. Bud should know that much.

After reading through this thread a couple of times, it seems to me that this company has had a couple of hiccups and at times the customer service was not very professional but more then not people seemed to be happy. What confuses me is that a company that deals in car detailing materials would NOT want to advertise on the biggest and most detailed web site there is on car care, Autopia? :nixweiss This company needs to pull up its socks, fix any internal/external problems it has, and join the party! Things could be great for all parties involved. :xyxthumbs
