Thanks for the quick review. Any chance you'll use it on your vehicle soon?

Sean,

Not yet, I'm aiming for this weekend detail. I'll report back here.

Does the CD test really matter in reality when you wash a dirty car? Isn't it the dirt that marrs the finnish, not the brush, mitt or what ever? Just a thought, of course it's good to know that it doesn't marr when it's clean.

I picked up one of those brushes from Pep Boys a few weeks ago for use on my Black Audi.

Was very leary about using any brush on the panels but gave it a wack anyway.

After the first use I could've sworn I saw some light marring that was not there before so I retired it for use on my rockers /bumpers/ and spoilers (works gr8t on the mesh and in the grills)

To be fair I did not wash the thing before use, not sure if that would've made any difference.

People over on Meg's forum's seem to like it though.

i dunno.....i just can't bring myself to use any brush on the paint. sheepskin mitt is the only thing that ever will... :o

Optical discs are so easy to scratch. Many people remove fingerprints from them only to have the smudges replaced by terrible scratches.

klnyc says he "scrap the DVD against the brush to death", which I assume is much more abusive than actual use on a car. Plus with no soap!

I've thought about using this brush... I like the idea that the bristles are so long where trapped dirt won't be pressed back into the paint... And the ends have a nice soft feel to them. But the whole brush idea is still scary. Maybe this is the one?
