I know this probably isn't the right place to post this (sorry), but I couldn't find the right place. There is no suggestion's sub-forum. Mods plase move to correct place if need be.

So how many have you have experienced VCN? I now I have, I bet many of you have also.

I let you know that I didn't like it very much. I was confused a lot in the beginning but the more you experience it the more you begin to get a hang of how it all works. You begin to put it together one piece at a time and sooner or later it'll be second nature.

But I'll tell you one thing, it wasn't fun and it takes time to learn it.

What do you all think of VCN??

So, you're reading the post and thing to yourself, 'What the hell is VCN?'.

VCN = Very Confused Noob. :nana:

You see, the way you felt when reading the post and had no clue what VCN meant, well, that's how a lot of noobs feel when the first visit this forum. Most of the people on this board use abbreviations for many of the products that they use. Being new to detailing you have no idea what they mean. So it's difficult trying to figure out what products to use and what would be good for you.

It took be almost 2 weeks to figure out what LSP meant. PC was no fun either, I kept seeing it in the post and didn't know what it was.

So, I have a suggestion that would help out a lot of new people that are getting into detailing and learning from this forum.

My solution, 'Hot Linking'.

I know many of think negatively of hot links, because sites use then to show ad's. But it can be useful in this situation. All the common abbreviations can be hot linked. So when someone types LSP, it would be underlined and by scrolling over it you will get what its meaning is.

What do you all thing? Or even a glossary might help.

OK, I feel stupid now. :(

but why is the FAQ hiden like that? Why isn't on the main forum page? it would be a big help.

btw, now i know how to access my control panel, was having a hard time finding that also.

They used to call the "Secret Decoder Ring" the "Acronym List" or something like that. I have to agree, if I didn't know, I would never think that link was the help I was looking for.
