Vannila moose Left a Stain (HELP)

I got some Vanilla Moose yesterday and finally got to try it, IM really impressed but I have a problem. One area on the hood has a stain in the shape of an "S" from where I squirted the product on before I rubbed it in. I didn't notice it while doing the work, even later when I put P21S on I didn't see it, now its driving me crazy, car is a white 2003 BMW.



I tried more Moose thinking maybe it would rub out, even tried a little Meguiars Polish with no improvement, maybe IM not through the wax yet?



I would really appreciate any replies, if you have seen this before please le me know IM kind of going nuts at this point.



All and all I still think VM is an incredible product, it was me the screwed up, not the product.....
 
FalconGuy- I haven't actually had the problem (I put the product on the pad instead of on the car) but I'll throw out my $0.02. I'd strip off the wax in that area with some solvent ("wax & tar remover", PrepSol, 3M Adhesive Remover, Griot's Paint Prep, etc.), THEN polish, then reapply the VM. Between the VM and the P21S you have a good bit of protection to get through.



BTW, it's somehow hard for me to visualize how it looks on a WHITE car. Is it a biege colored "s" or what?
 
Yep, its a biege colored S, I tried stripping the wax with dawn and then polishing this morning, no luck. I will try to find some wax stripper tomorrow, really pissed me off how I could have missed it, its not like the hood was blazing hot either, its less noticable but of course I can still see it, its 2 fees wide too

If you have some other products kicking around like a pre-wax cleaner or swirl remover or scratch remover that would probably (hopefully?) take care of it.
 
FalconGuy- If the Dawn/polish combo didn't take it off, you're probably gonna need something stronger than a "wax remover". I'm with 4DSC, use a slightly more aggressive product. Treat it like a scratch (getting more aggressive as needed until it's gone). And apply your VM to the pad, not the car ;)



You might want to call ClearKote and see what they'd do.
