Great detail! Doesn't the WD-40 leave you with a greasy feeling as a dressing on the wells and engine though? That'll end up attracting dust dirt in my experience.

Not any more than any other dressing. Dust, ehh, a little bit, but this car only has 8200 miles on it. It only gets wet when it gets washed. It doesn't ever see rain, and certainly no salt/snow.
