My story:

I came home from work to discover 3 bird bombs on my car, 1 was on the A-Pillar, well I whipped out my QD and MF towel and sprayed and wiped and the bird bomb didnt come off!, I let it soak a while, still didnt come off, so I move to more agressive scrubbing, got the bird bomb off but left some fine scratches (doom on me):sosad , so I whipped out my brand new VMW Hand Glaze and wiped some on per directions. The scratches dissapeared before my eyes!!! Not only that, the surface was silky smooth! I followed up with a little Moose Wax and it looks good as new. I highly recommend you buy some, its great stuff, plus my hands smell like vanilla. :xyxthumbs

Next time you wash it the fine scrataches will reappear again I THINK.

It depends on if you work it into the paint well. It will remove light scratches completely if you work it until nearly dry.

I have rdered 2 pints of vanilla moose glaze. How long should I work it in with a DA polisher as the last step before waxing and right after polishing? Also which pads would you recommend, green polishing pads or soft white foam pads on the cyclo?

Ryan-contact Everett for pad selection. Probably a polishing pad if you are trying to remove minor scratches and swirls and a finishing pad if your paint is already pristine and you just want a little more pop prior to waxing.

Personally I find the best results with Vanilla Moose and a PC using the orange pads from CM (although they tend to fall apart but that's another story)

VM has very-very light cutting ability and using it with a white or grey pad is not much better than by hand. A stronger cutting pad works great. One reason is VM dries very slowly when used with a PC so the pads cutting action is reduced some. Unlike other products, VM does not break down like the 3M products. This is not bad, it just requires a little bit different technique with a PC.

I used Vanilla Moose with the orange pad I bought from CMA. It worked nicely in getting out the light scratches in my Dad's 2000 Silverado.

Clearkote makes a great product and thanks to Scottwax for introducing it to us.
