A few of the guys on my local mustang board like the vanilla moose stuff. I had never heard of it until then. Any of you know about it or use it?

Vanilla Moose is a very nice product. Easy to use and produces good results.

In a nutshell, it's a light polish/paint cleaner and glaze combined so it hides minor defects without having to do a full detail.

As far as how to use it, you can apply it via machine or by hand. I like the PC for everything, and by hand is kind of obvious so I will discuss the PC method. Use either a light polishing or finishing pad, determined if you have any defects or not and set your PC on speed 4 at first so the product doesn't sling and then kick it up to 5 or 6 and polish small areas at a time and then remove the excess. It's that simple.

cool

thanks guys i'll give it a whirl. I'm failry new to the game, so i'm trying lots of stuff to find what i like. a lot of local guys like this stuff so i'm gonna try it.

If you're planning on using it on your black mustang, I suggest getting some PB's EX to top VM with. Perfect combo for black. Take a look at my Expedition and the black Civic in my gallery to check it out.

What is the best prep and topper for VM on Silver? I have IP, FP, AIO, Menzerna FTG, UPP, Blackfire, and WG sealent... I will take your advice in hoes that you can tell me what I should use...

for silver ive used IP/FP if you have swirls.but i wouldnt do AIO/VM after each other id do one or the other. But VM/EXP looks killer on silver. The only other thing ive used on silver that i was impressed with is AIO/SG/P21S

I would normally say EX-P like Jay, but it's not in your list. The next best thing, which might even be better, is UPP.

I agree with Jason, of the choices you listed, UPP would look best over VM on silver. A good carnauba option would be #16 or Nattys.

AIO and VM are almost the same thing, choose one or the other. As always, prep is everything and every detail should start with a good polishing.

Same as in the same step, not the same product. Following one with the other would pretty much produce nothing more than what you started with. Some like the looks of VM and some like AIO better. Personal preference.

One product = so many uses

Paint, glass, rubbers, plastic, vinyl, wheels.

The list goes on and on

was wondering what you guys thought of just ssr1 as polish than ex, on my BLACK vehicle or am i going to see better results with vm added ? looking for depth and richness..thanks todd
